FAMILY BACKGROUND: 41-year-old father of six is doing everything he can to protect his family after immigrating from Peru with his wife and children in hopes of building a better future. He recently became a U.S. citizen after years of hard work and sacrifice. This Christmas is especially difficult, as every coin is being invested in his wife’s residency application and legal fees to prevent her from being taken away from the family. The children are unaware of the full situation and only see frightening news on television, which makes it even more important to shield them from fear and uncertainty.

As head of the household, he feels heartbroken that he cannot provide the kind of Christmas he wants for his children this year. He and his wife have always worked hard to give their best to the kids, and they continue to rely on their strong faith in God’s love to carry them through. They believe that God shows His care through kind and merciful people, which is why he wrote this letter, hoping that someone will be moved to help his family during this difficult season.
