FAMILY BACKGROUND: 36-year-old mother of three shares a powerful story of resilience. When her family migrated to the United States, the journey was far from easy. They spent eight months in Mexico facing circumstances they never imagined they would endure. Every day was a struggle for survival as they waited for their CBP One appointment in hopes of safely crossing the border and reaching New Jersey.

After finally arriving, they stayed in a rented room, only to face new hardships when the owner began mistreating them. The situation escalated to the point where police and social services became involved. Through it all, her children had to stay strong—first during the difficult months in Mexico, and then through instability upon arriving in the United States.

Now, the family is finally beginning to stabilize, working hard to afford the basic things they have gone without. She shared that this story is only a small portion of everything they have endured. Her children would be deeply grateful for any support this Christmas, and she humbly asks for consideration.
