NJ-2026-0068: Single mother of three girls, including a nonverbal 4-year-old with autism who loves music

FAMILY BACKGROUND:
A young, hardworking single mother in Jersey City is raising three beautiful girls. Her youngest, who turns 5 in November, has level 2 autism and is nonverbal. It is very hard to keep her engaged and calm because the family cannot afford things that help her, like a swing anchored to the ceiling or a small trampoline. She loves music and is very musical. Her middle daughter, age 9, is easygoing and grateful for anything, and she is a little artist who loves anything to do with art. Her oldest, 15, loves makeup, nails and video games, like most teenagers. Mom devotes all her time to her girls, especially now that her youngest has just started school, and she hopes to earn her GED so she can find a good job. She says she needs nothing for herself but a miracle for her family.
