NJ-2026-0089: Working single mother of three girls, expecting a new baby and facing two December birthdays and Christmas alone

FAMILY BACKGROUND:
A hardworking single mother in Rockaway is raising three girls, and this year the family is also preparing to welcome a new baby girl. She works full time and covers almost all of the household expenses on her own, including the mortgage, utilities, groceries, transportation and school needs. She has court-ordered child support, but the children's fathers have not paid consistently. December is especially hard because her two oldest daughters both have December birthdays, so the month brings birthdays, Christmas and getting ready for a new baby all at once. Asking for help is difficult for her because she is used to budgeting and figuring things out herself. Her girls don't ask for much, and she simply wants them to feel the excitement and magic of Christmas and to feel special and remembered.
