NJ-2026-0134: Grandparents raising their grandchildren for five years, both working full time but unable to stretch their pay to the end of the month

FAMILY BACKGROUND:
A grandmother and grandfather in Little Egg Harbor Township have custody of their grandchildren. The children came to live with them five years ago after an abuse charge was filed against their parents, and the grandparents have raised them ever since. Both grandparents work full time, but their pay just does not stretch to the end of the month, and they sometimes rely on a food pantry to make the food last. Help from Operation Holiday would let them give their grandchildren the Christmas the children deserve.
